Ana Lopes

After graduating as a physiotherapist in Brasil in 2008, I decided to come to Australia to learn English and improve my skills in the health industry. I have been working with all types of massage since, such as sports, myofascial release and pregnancy. After working with Sydney FC and rugby teams I decided to explore the fitness industry further and use my rehabilitation and massage skills to continue to help people through Pilates.

Pilates has been in my life for the last 10 years. It’s an amazing technique not only to get people to recover from injuries but also to learn about their own body and to improve the quality of their lives. I love combining challenges, hard work and fun in my classes to help people focus on what they are doing and always learn something new.

I also have a passion for weightlifting. I took part in a body shaping competition in 2018 which has motivated me to improve my skills and study to help others to achieve their goals.

I believe Pilates is a very wholistic method of looking at the human being as a whole, helping people feel good not only physically but mentally as well. After all, we all deserve happy moments and I love to be able to provide that, sharing my knowledge and being part of people’s growth.
